Q: What exactly is coaching?
A: Well, to be honest, most people have the misperception that coaching is about having someone tell you what to do and advising you on how to make your life better. It’s actually quite the opposite. My job as coach is to ask powerful questions that will help you uncover the decisions that are right for you and your team. Coaching is a tool that can provide perspective and accountability. Coaching really is for everyone. Read more about my job as coach here.
Q: How can I or my team benefit?
A: Anyone and everyone who is open to coaching can benefit. Sometimes we lose focus and we need an outside source to help us realign with our mission and values. Sometimes we want it all and we can’t make a decision. Sometimes we have the best of intentions, but seem to get lost along the way. Coaching can make us more effective, more efficient and a higher performer. It can help us feel a greater sense of balance, fulfillment and purpose in our lives as well.
Personally, I work with a coach and our partnership keeps me on track. He holds me accountable to taking action and he continually pushes me to seek my potential. It’s one of the most beneficial relationships in my life.
Q: How much does coaching cost?
A: Prices vary depending on the service and details of our alliance. Please be in touch so we can start the conversation about your situation and I can give you a more accurate quote.
What I generally encourage is for all my clients to look at coaching as the biggest investment they’ll ever make. I’ve worked with clients who have significantly increased their incomes during our relationship because their focus improved dramatically. I believe that we must invest a certain amount of money in ourselves and in our personal development each year – it’s very important for progress. I’ve found that each individual or group has a number in mind that makes them cringe a little bit and generally, that’s what I charge because it get’s results! I don’t want to waste anyone’s time or money and I don’t want my time wasted either. If you’re serious about coaching and moving closer to your potential, you’ll see the value in investing in yourself.
I know that I can help you get to where you want to be. What’s that worth to you?
Q: How often do we meet?
A: I have some clients who like to meet weekly while others like to connect bi-monthly. I generally recommend 1 or 2 sessions per month as it keeps the momentum going strong.
Q: Do you offer a sample session so I can try it on for size?
A: Yes, of course! I offer a FREE 30 minute sample session to anyone who is interested in working with me. You also get a FREE high five! Lucky you. If you’d like to experience a sample session with me, be in touch and we can set one up.

Q: What’s your coaching style?
A: I adapt my style to what my clients need, but generally I push pretty hard. I don’t believe in procrastination because I know it comes from a place of fear. From my experience I’ve realized that if you really want something done, you’ll find a way to get it done. I like solutions, results and progress. I’ve been told that I am honest, trustworthy, approachable and ruthless. Let me know what you need from me for our relationship to be worthwhile and I’ll be a lot of that.
Q: Do you have a minimum commitment?
A: I ask all of my clients to sign a 3 month initial agreement so we can get into a groove and you can get comfortable with coaching. If, after that time, things aren’t working for you, be sure to let me know. If you are serious about coaching and we just didn’t mesh, I will do my best to find another coach in my network who will be a better fit.
Q: Why do you call it “Performance Coaching”?
A: Excellent question. I call it performance coaching for a couple of reasons:
- I don’t believe we have any control over outcomes, I believe we only have control over our performance. I think that great performances always lead to success.
- I believe that we can always perform to a higher standard. Even when we achieve greatness, there is still more to chase. I think it’s always important to reflect and evaluate if you are holding yourself accountable to a high performance standard in your life.
- Life’s a giant dance party and you always have an opportunity to perform your best moves.
